In his spare time Ryan enjoys running, cycling and taking walks. He enjoys competing in Special Olympics in Basketball and Flag Football. He also plays Ice Hockey with the Denver Mustangs. Ryan is developing his skills with a camera. You can check out some of his work at the button below.
It has been Ryan’s personal mission to get people around the world to stop using the term “disabilities”
Making it happen...
Tracey Coy
I spent 20 years in elementary Special Ed before I started working with this amazing group in 2021. I love challenging the guys to try more and do more both out in the community and at their jobs. They amaze me with their drive to succeed and to achieve independence in all aspects of their daily lives.
In my off time I enjoy gardening and getting out on the lake in my kayak. When the weather turns cold, I turn to reading and playing games and puzzles to challenge my brain.
Shelli Coley
I have been working with people of different abilities for 20 years, first as a Special Education Teacher and then as a Paraprofessional. I began working at 4Abilities as a provider in 2023. I started as a billing specialist and then as a provider. This has been the most rewarding work I have ever done. I am constantly amazed at the determination, spirit, and humor with which these guys face the world.
When I’m not “working” I enjoy spending time with my adult children (yes, I’m an empty nester) and my two dogs. I love reading, playing games, and hanging out in my backyard on nice days.
Josh
Josh has a great sense of humor and always makes us laugh. He has the ability to see the good in most any situation and is a calming force in our group.
Josh loves to work at the public library shelving books and movies in the children’s section. He really loves to volunteer with Meals on Wheels delivering meals and talking to clients. In addition he is a park steward for Aurora Parks and Recreation and works hard keeping our parks and trails in good shape.
Some of his favorite things include The Muppets, playing basketball and flag football with Special Olympics, working out on his punching bag, and of course vanilla ice cream! He is also learning ice hockey, playing with the Denver Mustangs. He loves being the keyboardist with The Sean and Josh Band and making music for Youtube.
Exploring possibilities...
Adrian Caballero
I started working at 4Abilities in July 2025. What began as curiosity quickly turned into something much more meaningful for me.
I first connected with the team while working at Mod Pizza, where I had known the guys for over three years. When I asked about 4abilites and how the support worked, they came to me and gave me the opportunity to join their group, opening up a new experience in life. Thanks Sean! Joining this group made me realize that everyone has...and NEEDS a voice.
It is a job that I don't see as a job, its a getaway. I’m grateful to work alongside peers who truly listen and value each individual. I try to bring positive energy every day and be someone who encourages others to see what they’re capable of.
Since joining 4Abilities, I now volunteer with Special Olympics, helping athletes develop their basketball skills. Watching their growth, determination, and teamwork is inspiring. Their abilities continually impress me and they often go far beyond expectations.
Dev Doiron
I joined 4Abilities in June 2025 as a provider and have been proud to serve on the team for the past 10 months. After moving from Virginia to Denver in May 2022, I was invited to join 4Abilities based on my experience as an ice hockey coach, where I worked with many of our members. What began on the ice grew into a deeper commitment to supporting individuals in building confidence, independence, and meaningful opportunities, and I am extremely thankful.
As a job coach and provider, I work alongside our members to develop vocational skills, navigate workplace expectations, and grow both professionally and personally. Whether I am job coaching at Broncos games, helping members learn how to drive, or team activities in the mountains, I get to share who I am while also enjoying every minute of my time here.
Outside of work, I continue to pursue the activities that first connected me to this community. I spend much of my time playing and coaching hockey, climbing, backpacking, skiing, and do what I can to keep myself outside and exploring new places. As I grow as a provider, I hope to continue to execute on the trust that's been handed to me to foster a positive environment for our team and perpetuate our company values wherever I go.
Sean
Sean loves connection - with family, friends, and everyone. He greets folks on his Meals on Wheels route with a smile and a positive attitude. He helps out in the community by shoveling snow with the Snow Busters and cleaning up the parks and trails in Aurora.
Sean has worked at Mod Pizza since 2017. He has mastered many positions and is now rocking the line making pizzas. He enjoys all the people he works with and is a hard worker.
When not at work, you can find Sean somewhere shooting hoops, playing ice hockey with the Denver Mustangs, or playing his drums with the Sean and Josh band.
Behind the scenes...
Shannon Brennan
I am Shannon…
Sometimes I am out in the community helping out our colleagues, but mostly I work behind the scenes helping things run smoothly. I really enjoy helping and supporting people. I like to make a difference in people’s lives and to be a positive source of encouragement.
When I’m not working for the PASA, I work at Mod Pizza. I love singing, traveling, hanging with friends, and rockin’ it on the basketball court.
Lauren Brennan
I joined 4Abilities in January 2024 as the organization’s accountant. While I have been with the company for a short time, I bring many years of accounting experience and have had the privilege of knowing this incredible team for more than 20 years.
Being part of 4Abilities is truly energizing. The positive, uplifting atmosphere is something you feel the moment you walk through the door. I deeply believe in the mission of the organization — elevating people’s choices, supporting meaningful employment, and giving back to the community through volunteer opportunities that reflect each individual’s passions and interests.
I truly believe in this company model and would love to see this being replicated everywhere - empowering people.
When not working, I love harvesting food - one of my favorite places is the mandarin grove - I also love picking apples, cherries, blueberries. strawberries…all the things.
MICHAEL
I am Michael…
I love hanging out with my friends and neighbors - Ryan, Josh, Collin and Sean. It is always such a joy to see the guys, they make my day every day. When I am struggling they support me and get me thinking positively again.
Sometimes I struggle with acceptance. 4Abilities welcomes and accepts me for who I am. We truly value each other. It is a safe place, and I feel inspired every day I am here.
I love working out at the YMCA and getting stronger. I play soccer on a team called Colorado Springs Switchbacks. This is a team you have to try out for and I am so proud to be part of the team. It’s a travel team and we have been to Houston TX, Knoxville TN, Omaha NE, Spokane WA and Sacramento CA. Not only is this team a great experience for traveling, it also challenges me physically. I take pride in developing my craft: my skills in soccer.
When not playing soccer, I participate in Special Olympics flag football and basketball. I volunteer for Meals on Wheels and get to spend more time with my friends out in the community. I love to give back to my community.
Make it strong and sustainable...
Kelly Wilson
It all begins with a belief that can lead to an idea. I believe all people have the right to explore their potential and pursue what interests them. That belief led to an idea - 4Abilities. I started this company in 2017 to be that space where people live, dream and prosper. I continue to be amazed every day at the positivity and desire to achieve great things.
We can do hard things!
The Company
4Abilities is an instant family, always working together to build what’s possible…and sometimes build what seems to be impossible.
Collin
Collin enjoys working and volunteering in his community. He volunteers with Aurora Parks and Recreation picking up trash at the local parks and trails. He also delivers meals with Meals on Wheels.
He is currently employed at Dick’s Sporting Goods where he stocks merchandise and ensures items are priced correctly. His co-workers are always happy to see him because of his can-do attitude and his energy.
In his free time, Collin is active in Special Olympics, playing soccer, flag football, and golf. He also plays ice hockey for the Denver Mustangs.
He enjoys keeping current with team stats for his Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons and is always up for a movie or a meal out!
Residential Support...
Mary Lederman
I have always built my career around what matters most — my family. As a mother, I chose every paying job to fit my children’s needs, working third shifts while they slept and then spending my days as their bus driver, lunchroom monitor, and room mother. Growing up in the suburbs of Chicago as one of ten siblings taught me the value of family, resilience, and hard work from an early age.
Serving others has always been close to my heart. In my senior year of high school, I began working at a nursing home, where I discovered my love for supporting seniors and individuals with abilities that were different. Some of my most treasured memories are of sitting with someone 60 years my senior, sharing coffee and listening to their remarkable life stories. Those conversations left a lasting impression and shaped my desire to dedicate my life to caring for others.
I became a mother at a young age and stepped into the role of advocate, coach, volunteer partner, and friend. Having a child with challenges strengthened my commitment to ensuring that all individuals are seen for their abilities and potential. With the support of my husband and extended family, we raised a wonderful young man who I am incredibly proud of. My family remains my greatest achievement.
I proudly became part of the 4Abilities family in 2021, further deepening my commitment to serving others.
In May 2025, I retired to embrace life more fully and spend more time traveling. I believe life is a precious gift, and I feel truly blessed every day.
Maura Klene
My name is Maura, and I am a Residential Service Provider with 4Abilities. Michael, Rhianna, and I live together on a small acreage where we enjoy caring for livestock, gardening, and watching wildlife. Over the years, we’ve had donkeys, chickens, and dogs — and at one time even goats and horses.
I strongly believe in staying active and involved in the community. My kids and I have volunteered at the Parker Food Bank since 2016, and community service continues to be an important part of our lives. They also participate in Special Olympics, which has been a meaningful and rewarding experience for all of us.
In my former career, I worked as a Child and Family Advocate, supporting families and helping them access the resources they needed. That experience continues to shape the way I care for and support others today.
Our partners make all the difference.
YMCA Wheatlands
YMCA Wheatlands has been our go to place for individualized workouts since they opened. They have a great variety of user-friendly equipment that allows our members to workout independently and reach their own individualized goals. 9News, Next with Kyle Clark, accompanied us for our day at the gym. Enjoy the news story showing our successes!
Smoky Hill Library
Our partnership continues to grow with the Smoky Hill Library. Josh is there twice a week to make sure the children’s movies and books are back on the shelf. He can always find time to share a smile and warm welcome for all who visit the library.
He has expanded his work to other areas of the library, including returning all movies to their proper spots on the shelves. He keeps all the shelves looking neat and tidy.
Aurora Parks and Recreation
We shovel snow off driveways for those who cannot in the winter months. We typically have 2-3 driveways to shovel when the snow flies. Special jobs include putting up wire to protect the trees from beavers.
We clean up parks and trails in Aurora to keep our communities looking beautiful.
